From just six months old, I was in the water, and I’ve loved it ever since. Swimming has always been a huge part of my life, and I’ve come to believe it’s one of the most important life skills anyone can learn. Whether for safety, confidence, fitness, or simply enjoyment, swimming is something people of all ages can benefit from.

I trained and competed at a high squad level until I was 16, which gave me a strong foundation in technique, discipline, and the value of proper coaching. Not long after stepping away from competitive swimming, I began my first job as a swim teacher. What started as a casual role during my studies quickly became a true passion. I was fortunate to learn from experienced instructors, attend workshops, develop new skills, and build a teaching style centred around patience, encouragement, and clear technique.

After COVID-19, I moved to a new swim school that gave me even more room to grow and refine my approach. The environment allowed me to experiment, create new drills, and really understand how different swimmers learn. Each term, our team received detailed statistics on student progression and skill achievement. These reports challenged me to improve continually, and over time, I developed a reputation for consistently high progression rates and strong results.

​Eventually, I became a team leader, running workshops, mentoring new instructors, and creating a comprehensive encyclopedia of drills and teaching methods to help raise the standard across the team.

I care deeply about the swimmers I teach, and I’m committed to creating lessons that are safe, effective, and tailored to each individual. After 10 years of experience, this passion has followed me into the next chapter of my life, which led me to start LevelUp Swim Academy!
